The state government in Thuringia and the city of Gera issued the following new regulation on 01.03.2022: Hotels are only allowed to accommodate persons who are able to provide a proof of a complete Covid 19 vaccination or recovery in combination with a valid photo ID or a negative test result not older than 24 hours. Children under the age of 6 are excepted from the vaccination/recovery/test proof.
The requirement to be tested negative is waived if full vaccination (+14 days) or recovery can be verified. Therefore, please be prepared to present one of the possible proofs upon arrival (and again after 24 hours if necessary in case of test proof), otherwise accommodation will not be possible. It is compulsory for all guests to wear a FFP2 mask in all public areas of the hotel.
